Just bought a LL bean Hunter Carryall pack

I bought this pack just this year and was lucky enough to put it to good use during elk season. Had it loaded with 60#+ in gear and hind quarter. I also experienced a squeak but very slight and only fully loaded. I'll agree that the customer service I have received has been great.

I like my hips clear, my gear solution is a camelbak ambush grim-locked to the packs D-rings. This system worked great this year when I made a good shot around 5:30pm on a nice spike. We did not need to waste time walking back to the truck to grab packs/game bags. As it was, we still cut and packed out by head lamp.

The camel back sat right on top of the quarter with no problems and added even more retention and stability for the meat along with the bat wings.

Hard working pack for $80.

Looks like a great system and handled the load fine from what I could tell. Al is a big fella too and the pack didn't seem to cramp his style any.
