Boycotting the Yakima sportsman show you didn't miss anything.  I went there for the first time and it was terrible.  Don't know where all the racks were as I went saturday evening and I don't think there was 30 racks total.  The whole show had very few outfitters, no taxidermists, lots of candles and junk knives for sale though.

Yes the bulls are real, WERE real.
What happened to them?
At least one was killed last fall it was I believe. There was also a very nice bull from there killed by a vehicle 2 years or so ago.

The 2in bones pics are dead.  Non-typical fall 2011 tribal kill. Typical summer 2012 motor vehicle collision.

Yep, it  sucks big time that 2 big 400 plus bulls had to die that way. :bash: :(  better that way then an undeserving killer like the non-typical.

I grabbedn touched (molested haha joking) the bull in question at the show.  The antlers appeared very old as if sun damaged and were clearly labeled Colorado as state of harvest.  There were some nice animals there.  I got pics on my camera st home and they were not of the Hanford bull.

If the bull in question came from CO, I would almost guarantee that it is was a farm bull. I believe that CO has a fair number of high fenced game farms, and CO isn't really known for its big bulls.

I believe the first delete was a hint.  :twocents: I would dump these voluntarily quickly if I were you. Totally unnecessary. Or wanted.

ok! Delete the first reply why?
the answer to where most of the big hanford bulls are is.......... on a reservation or shipped to someone bidding on ebay for $$$$. either way its a shame that we allow this to happen.  The problem with this site and country is that the truth hurts and we all are too darn sensitive!  If I was lying then I would be the only one looking dumb!  But the truth is that the big bulls in this state mostly are shot by the guys that don't have seasons or regulations!

The "spider bull" is Denny Austad's bull from Utah.

Josh is right. Not the spider. The bull you are talking about if I remember right hookedonquack was nick named the "bird bath" bull. The guide had applied to get the licenses but had not got it yet still took the hunter and shot the bull. I know the guy that guy. The story sounds just like his deal so I think that is the bull you are talking about.

Pretty sure the bull in question at the sportsman show was a big 7 with a drop tine. No way it went 459" 429" maybe. It was an impressive bull!
