All depends on the size of Optics you are looking at. Here's info on Twilight Factors! >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> To explain how this configuration works, all 8x42 binoculars, these have an Exit Pupil of 5.25 and a Twilight Factor of 18.3, which if you compare them to an 8x32 pair, which have an exit pupil of 4 and a twilight factor of 16, shows that the increased objective lens diameter will improve the potential for the binoculars to transmit more light. It is true that whilst a 10x42 binocular has a smaller exit pupil of 4.2mm, they have a better twilight factor of 20.5 and therefore should show better detail in dim light. They will however most probably have a far narrower field of view and that is why for birding an 8x magnification is often (not always) preferred to a 10x. There is also the point to remember that to make more powerful magnifications, thicker glass is needed and the thicker the glass, the less light that is transmitted through it. ElkNut1

We didn’t want that tobe the case with Vortex so everythingis backed by a VIP Warranty, whichstands for Very Important Promise. Ifyou have a problem with our product,we make it our problem and wemake it go away.”“We’ve heard the stories abouthaving to ship other brands back tothe Orient, and three months lateryou haven’t heard anything,” Joesaid. “That’s why it’s all handledhere. There’s no paperwork to fill out.The customer just needs to send itback to Vortex, or the dealer canreturn it. Within roughly a weekyou’re taken care of. If we can’t fix it,we’ll replace it. It’s fully transferable, all you have to do is return the product,or a piece of it.”Janet has seen binoculars dogshave chewed to shreds, and truckshave driven over. When a customercomes in wondering if the bad thinghe let happen is going to be covered, and finds out it is, that dealer has acustomer for life. And Vortex has adealer for life.

Don't let anyone talk you down. If you're ready to throw down on a pair of EL's, don't settle for less. I haven't made it up that far yet as I'm happy with my Nikon EDG.
