Lockdown S4 Bino Case.. Opinion?
« on: March 18, 2013, 10:49:44 PM »
Just picked up a Lockdown S4 Bino Case for my new Vortex Diamonback 10x42's in the Large size, It fits perfectly. Wanted something that could somewhat protect my lenses while Im Hiking/Scouting. Jumping/Climbing over and under stuff n what not....
Anyone out there have one of these? If so how do you like it and how does it hold up after constant use?
It seems pretty solid..

Welp after lots of playing with these, and reading lots of reviews. I think for $39.99 I couldn't of found a better case/strap. It works amazing. Ive even crawled around on the ground with them :chuckle: to make sure they stick to my chest. They dont bounce, They cover the lenses just enough. Pleased with this purchase and I actually highly recommend them.

I've had the s4 binos harness for almost a year and so far love it. Covered the binos up so they don't bang around.

Looks nice. I like my badlands but wouldn't pay the price they are asking for them now, they've more than doubled the price since I got mine. This looks like a less costly solution and less bulky than the badlands. I've played with the Sitka version and don't like it, the zippers would annoy me.

I like the Badlands if I'm out for a nature hike, but neither they or this one works well with a backpack on. I like the simple old Nimrod and us twist ties to attach the binos. It goes on under that backpack and there's no problem.

Zippers? Theres no zippers on this one. Just bungy style cords. Has a security cord for when they're not in the protective case. The case opens with a quick release bungy also.

That ones ok, Its too bulky. I usually have my Gopro strapped to my chest also so Im limited on space but like the protection of the S4's
