I've been tempted. I think the Primos 35 is a lot of cam for $50. The only thing that concerns me is not knowing if the refurbs would be "clunk" free. The older 35's had a well known problem with making a loud clunk sound every time something triggered the camera. They fixed this problem in late 2011/early 2012 and also made a change that doubled battery life. I bought a new one in January 2012 and it is fine. Quiet and great battery life. I would assume the refurbished cams would have the latest improvements. I hope someone decides to buy one and be the guinea pig.

The nice thing about this camera is the case was made to accept a Python cable lock, 5/16" in diameter I believe, so with just a $15 cable you can secure your camera. No need for a metal box.  That right there saves you another $50.

Do they have other re-furbished cams besides primos?

Ill be taking back my 3mp tascos to Walmart. (Hopefully... They are all hangin on trees right now. And I don't have a receipt) and buy 3 more refurb truth cams

If I can't return them the. Ill be hanging 3 new tascos for sale hahaha

Did they fix the loud clicking noise when it took a pic?
