I think I might see if I can pull a couple out of Deer Lake up on Whidbey Island. Just fishing from shore near the boat ramp has worked in the past. No way am I taking the boat any where near a ramp with the yeahoo's this weekend.

You ever notice that opening day can bring a ton of pressure to lakes that are open year round
?
I only bass fish so I like to hit some small local lakes. Last year was Ohop and this year I am going to try Macintosh even though it looks like I will be alone, but that is fine

I'm planning to hit Carney Lake here in Kitsap county after my 12 hour shift is over. Two pole endorsement this year, we'll see if I can multi-task.
