From what my dealer told me about my wife's, you have to contact Rossi directly and have the gun sent to them for custom fitting of the new barrel.

Did rossi finally get the barrel fitting program up and running?
It was a rumor for about 5 years...I'd double check to see if they're even offering it. I see no mention of it on their website.
If no, you're going to be forced to buy them used via gunbroker or similar...and hope you can get them fitted correctly. Or just buy a complete rifle.

N&R/NEF, however, does do a barrel fitting program.
Not that it helps your situation.
I left it better than I found it...did you?
I hunt animals because veggies are too easy to stalk.

Guess I will check with my dealer and see if they can get it done if I decide to get one.  Though for the cost, you could almost buy a new or used complete gun I am sure..........
