Besides a dog what type of license is needed to hunt coons with dogs? Ive heard just a small game license then i heard a small game and a hound stamp or pursuit stamp?

You just need small game as far as I know. I have never heard of a hound or pursuit stamp?

Small Game Lic only, no such animal as a hound permit in WA.  I think there used to be one, but there hasn't been one for many moons.

Has anyone tried dispatching a treed coon with a bow thats is really my only option.

Sure it's been done plenty of times, use a flu flu arrow and you should be good to go.  You could also get a coon squaller and make them jump out if you have a good kill dog.

Back When we could hunt biggame with dogs there was a hound stamp we had to buy.
