Hats off to animal rights groups!

I have been really thinking about this and we as outdoorsman got outplayed so bad its not even close! animal rights groups made a game plan and executed it to perfection and are now close to eliminating sport hunting which was their goal!  I think back to 95 fighting to keep hound hunting, while they were getting wolves reintroduced what a super tactic to keep us fighting on the left hand while the real work was being done with the right hand!  Hindsight is always 20/20 but i wish we would of had a game plan like trying to get rid of wdfw and have counties manage wildlife in their borders like it used to be!  this may seem unreasonable but with 20 years and a step by step plan we might have been able to prevent this!

We all need to work together like they do and put an end to it. It really is possible but it takes work and a lot of us it just depends on how far we are all willing to go. Someone needs to make and plan a big meeting for the state for all hunters and fisherman and other outdoor enthusiast were every one attends and we put a stop. The wdfg would be a good thing however all our tag and license money goes into the general fund instead of strictly back into the fish and game and therefore the fish and game never has money and close rec opportunities to all of us and not to mention all the hatcheries that have gone under now due to lack of money. it really is simple get all of us sportsmen to go on strike until the fish and game is the fish and game and that's where the money and control goes instead of to the government that has no clue what the real outdoors are. Lol sorry just venting we really do have the power to make a change and it is really simple but just like me no one else will take the initiative to put forth the effort and help organize something to help us all.

Vote Republican, and campain for them and donate money to candidates you approve of. If there is not one, maybe it's you who needs to run then. Join the NRA, join the hunting groups that support the cause.

I do not believe there is any point in any contact with WDFW anymore. I have no confidence in them at all.

the bad thing is republican doesn't really mean pro rural lifestyle anymore! what its like 2 percent of americas landmass is urban and it controls the vote of the other 98 percent! something in those lines! until we can change so that votes are giving for the amount of land instead of the voters on the piece of land its not good for rural populations!

To do that would require the revocation of the 17th Amendment. But, since doing away with the 2nd A is so popular these days maybe that is not so crazy? It would do what you want. It would give the Red of America their Country back from the Progressives.

I say we're doomed.... change is the only constant in life. Too many children plugged into walls these days. I remember 30 years ago you couldn't keep me in the house, now you can't get kids out of the house! Unless of course it's to go to the mall and be a good little consumer.

Enjoy it, fight the fight, but do not be surprised when it's scraped for 'no funding due to lack of interest". They will make just as much money if not more on revenue from the hippies that want to see and hear the magical wolf. If I were a guide right now and wanted to launch ahead of the curve and make a killing, I would start advertising "Guided Wolf Viewing Trips", those people are true idiots but they sure seem to have the money to waste on crap like that.

Don't give them too much credit. Animal Rights groups overplayed their hand in the NRM, and they have done much to polarize both the hook & bullet crowd, and other non-consumptive environmentalists.

Wolves didn't need the kind of protection that HSUS and CBD were calling for, so it goes to show that either the groups gave into their more radical large donors, or they flat out just didn't understand wolves.

their main goal is not wolves, their main goal is to end all sport hunting in america period! and from my view they are right on track to do just that! the only obstacle in their way right now is to figure out how to financially eliminate the need for sport hunters!  the wolves and predator were to manage deer and elk herds so i will bet they are working on how to fund fish and wildlife so hunting licenses and tags are no longer needed for funds to the dept.  My guess is something like the discovery pass and non hunting money will be coming!

All sports men need to keep that goal in mind...end ALL hunting, then fishing...and the attack on the 2A is is part of it.  You do know why full auto is restricted in WA?  Yes?  Same divide a conquer method as with the wolves and hounds.  The average Sportsman says 'I don't have a dog in this fight, I don't need full auto (or hounds) to hunt." so the anti's get their foot in the door and get their restrictive law.  (RCW 9.41.190)

Next, Ceasefire says it wants to restrict Open Carry...Don't fall for it.  Just because you do not OC does not mean it does not impact you, just look at the attempt at an AWB...basically any semi-auto could be an AW by Ceasefire's definition.  Anybody here have a Ruger 10/22?

"If we don't stand together, we will all hang separately" Just because you don't OC, or just because you use an O/U, or a bolt action rather than a semi-auto does not mean ANY restriction on the 2A (or A1S24) will not impact YOU.

There is one good thing that these attacks on hunting and handguns has generated anyway...A lot of people are waking up to what is really going on.  Eliminate hunting, and then argue the population (except for a few very wealth few) don't need any firearms.   Think about it.
