Need load data 130gr barnes tsx with Accurate powder, 308 WIN
«

Anyone have load data for barnes .308 130gr tsx? Powder is so scarce all I have is Accurate 2495 and 2520 so those are my only options.
I'm getting a load together for my axis deer hunt in Hawaii figure a smokin fast 130gr will do nicely for the smaller deer or mouflon over there. Thanks.

Google AA Load Data and you should find what you want or call them. Try Barnes also they are very helpful. You can order a lad book from AA, they used to be free. I'd never use someone elses data unless it came straight from a book. I never give out data for the same reason just a typo can ruin your life.

Good data here, but I don't think it lists your powder. There is powder available around the country, post what powder you want in the classifieds and I bet you find some.

I tried to get you some info from "Load from a disk". But none of those powders were recommended by load from a disk program.

Here is the Accurate online data....Page 16 has the .308, for 2495 there is a 125 grain Nosler BT listed...you can start there with the start loads and work up.

Klikboom,
I have a few alternate powders listed in the data that Bearpaw put up and would let you buy a pound of one of the 3 choices, at the pre panic price if the 2520 isn't cutting it. I have H335, IMR 4895 and Reloader 15. Send me a PM if you need one, I am in Marysville near the new Cabelas. TV

Thanks for the assistance gentlemen, bearpaws link has the XBT so ill call Barnes Monday to see if they agree with those numbers for the TSX also. I'll follow up with you, tvhunts, if I can't get 2520 to work out. I only have 3 weeks till the hunt, I have factory 168gr if I don't feel comfortable with the 130gr development by the time I have to leave. Thanks again for the help!
