Spanish Ibex Hunt
« on: April 02, 2013, 01:06:59 AM »
I'm living in Spain right now, but will be moving to Washington in September. I wanted to get one last hunt in while I had the chance. I couldn't afford the male Ibex (3000euro) so the nannies were much more affordable and just as fun to hunt. We hiked in Grazalema, Spain for about five hours and saw lots of goats, but most of them were pretty far off. Fortunately, we were able to sneak up on this one in a pine forest and had an easy 75 yard shot. Here are a couple of pictures from the trip. If anyone has recipes for goat or ibex, please send them my way.
