Big Buck Rub
«

I fancy myself for spotting buck rubs, but I was just looking at this pic and sure didn't notice this. Take a look at that powerpole. Does it look like they have been working on it? The poor light made for a poor picture of the buck so I really never noticed the pole before...

I watched a 3 pt. Blacktail work over a street sign pole about 8 years ago. I wish I would have had a camera. He was bound and determind to knock it over.

It would be funny watching that guy trying to tear up the pole.

Seen a fence post out in the sage that was almost rubbed clear through, wish I had taken a picture of that.

I have seen the fence posts beat up in the desert unit as well. They have to rub something

Saw a phone pole in Alberta that was worn down pretty good right next to a stout fence post that looked like an hour glass from years of rubbing.

Weird thing is there are lots of pine in this area and this picture was taken from the road, at about 75-100 yards. Funny place to stand and rub away, but I guess they don't care when they are into it.
