Bushnell 1-4X24 AR Optic
« on: April 11, 2013, 02:08:00 PM »
Just bought one of these suckers.
http://swfa.com/Bushnell-1-4x24-AR-Optics-30mm-Rifle-Scope-Mount-Kit-P61988.aspx
Can't wait to mount it on my new AR. My only worry is that I was able to pay for it but when I went to the Bushnell website to look at reviews, the website says that it will be available in June of this year... so did I just buy one, or reserve one? Time will tell I guess. I will let you guys know how I like it!

I would call SWFA, their CS is usually pretty good... Usually they don't put products up like that unless they are available, or will put something on the products showing that it isn't available yet... That said, they may have an exclusive on it until June...  :dunno:

Would be interested to see what you think of it... I was recently debating between an optic like that and a new aimpoint.  That throw lever looks a little cheesy, like it would catch on something and break, but bushnell makes nice optics, and the price on this isn't way out there.  Leupold has their AR optic like this, and it's over $5000... While I love Leupold, I do not $5000 love them...

I agree there are some very nice scopes.

I logged into my account and the status on my order was "Back Ordered" :( Looks like I gotta call them Tomorrow. Thinking about getting the burris tac30 with the PEPR sight and fast fire red dot. That looks like a pretty good deal to me.

This makes me laugh! I just got my scope in the mail today! Mounted it up and ready to sight it in! Looks good, magnification is good, its got the throwlever for easy power changes. The only down i see so far is that if I put the illumitation at 11 (idky they didnt stop at 10) The whole inside sorta lights up. Can't wait to take it to the range and sight it in!
