Whats your go to powder measure?  How consistent and reliable is yours?

I run a rcbs chargemaster now days. Very nice equipment. Mine does not work well with the auto dispense but it's not to hard to hit a button each time I want it to throw a charge.

Take a look at Harrell's line up. Exellent quality, accurate powder measure/ throwers. My others are gather dust. I use them here and there for specific cartridges but my Harrell's by far see the most use.

RCBS Chargemaster, love it!

After 10 years the keyboard is wearing out. I called the company, they said send it in and they will fix it, no issues.

Excuse my terminology!  I may not use the right terms, but you will get the point.
Flake powders, are not great, the machine throws alot of over charges.
Extruded powders, pretty good, but still throws over charges once in a while.
Ball powders, great, over throws are pretty rare.
But with all reloading, it is a matter of paying attention to the details......
The one thing about the chargemaster I really like is that you can do other things while, it's throwing your next charge....
But with all equipment, there are limitations to it's, efficiency. Depending on the product, it's working with......

On my bench right now I have two Lyman 55's, a Saeco, Pacific/Hornady, Redding, Midway and an old RCBS.  I've used a few others in the past including Herters, C&H and Ideal.  As long as they have micrometer adjustments and not sliding sleeve they are pretty much equal.  I do like the Lymans for ball and short cut powders and longer handle measures for stick powders(more cutting power).

My 20 year old rcbs is perfect for me. It throws as close as I can ask for.

I was on the bench this morning with my new hornady measure on the ammo plant and comparing it to my rcbs.....it is not as consistent.

RCBS Chargemaster 1500. Best money I've ever spent on equipment. One thing I've found if you take a 1/2" long drinking straw and slip it in the outlet leaving about half of it sticking out it will greatly reduce over charges.
