I'm putting in for the East Side again this year!
« on: April 15, 2013, 10:50:01 AM »
Ill be putting in for Archery Peaches tag this year, all on my own.
My plans have changed again as I will be hunting alone this season as my hunting partners don't want to hunt or put in the time to scout or hunt Elk, WTH!!
I was going to go over into the Naselle area this year as I was into elk 3 out of the 4 days two years ago, but I have the love for the east side! I was given a lot of info over the years and planning on using that info to get back into some elk this year!
What are your plans for this upcoming season? What special permit do you plan on putting for right now prior to the regs coming out?

Best of luck to you. I've got the archery bug too. My partners are sticking with modern so I'm going solo. I'm psyched! I am shooting as much as possible, getting great coaching from Don at Tacoma Sportsman Club and next week the trips to the dry side begin. It's all about the process for me. Enjoy!

Don,
I'm a member over at Tacoma sportsman club as well. I'm just about to dust off the bow to start shooting this year. Have you hunted the east side before with a bow?

I've been hunting the east side for a couple of decades, but not with a bow. I got my feet wet last year hunting archery deer. Now I'm hooked.

My dad had 12 points last year put in as a single and didn't draw. I guess I lied to him when I said  "you'll draw 4 sure". With 13 this year, I ain't saying chit. I am talking archery peaches.
“In common with”..... not so much!!
