Sights for Turkey Hunting
« on: April 12, 2013, 03:10:05 PM »
I've got a Benelli Nova and I'd like to put a red dot on it for Turkey hunting.

Looking for recommendations.

Thanks!

I have a nova too and I just prefer using the factory bead. I used to have fiber optic sights I would install over the pin and I had several misses over the last few years with them. They are aligned right, I know that from practice shooting, but for some reason I have a harder time connecting with birds with them on. Might just want to stick with the factory red bead.  :twocents:

I also have a Nova and like the red bead.  Personally, I would prefer having no optics on a shotgun, one less thing to worry about.

I use red dot.
When the bird is looking straight at you they see the red lens.

I am. Thinking of. Changing to a low power short scope. I need a little magnification.

I have a 2x-7x scope on mine.
