  what are the caliber of shells i can shoot in a 38 special gun?  i know i cannot use 357 but the reverse will work.   mike w

.38 special or standard .38s . no .357s if you get a 57 you can shoot all three .your .38 specials load with a 125 hollow point with definatley put a hurting on anyone.
