I used too fish swift creek cove, used sack of eggs on Gamatsu hooks with some small marshmellows threaded on before the eggs to slow the descent of the bait, but the trick is getting it through the small fish before bait is gone so the larger fish get a whack at it. This said, I hiked in from the road down the step bank east side of road. if reservoir is full boat should make it in there.

I used to troll a one ounce barrel sinker with some ford flashers followed by a wedding ring.  Green or orange with a pice of corn or egg.  We did really well with this combo.  We had a cabin at North Woods, so we went up frequently.

If you go across from the state park, there is a canyon along the other shore, find it with a F/F.
Add a piece of worm instead of the corn or egg, enuf for a good curly tail, go out about 40-50 pulls, and have fun.
They put coho in the lake a while back, but it is way too cold for walleye.
It's not true that I am good for nothing---I can be used as a bad example!!

I believe Swift doesn't open til the 4th Saturday in April?
Yale is open, hit it today and limited in 2.5 hours on rainbows.  Avg size was about 2.5lbs

It doesn't open till the the end of april i think? And I would fish the dam, or canal, as they were just stocked, or if you have a boat, launch and go up to where the Lewis river dumps in.
