Well then they should also suspend students for wearing Pro Obama T-shirts, as it is an obvious attempt to promote drugs not to mention ignorance.

What a bunch of turds.  I wish I taught in a city where "disturbing the education process " was an arrestable crime, I might still be teaching, especially if this included my old principle.  :chuckle:

Found this in the comments at the bottom of the article.....So True!!

If you can get arrested for hunting or fishing without a license,
but not for being in the country illegally — you might live in a
nation founded by geniuses but run by idiots.

If you have to get your parents’ permission to go on a field trip
or take an aspirin in school, but not to get an abortion — you
might live in a nation founded by geniuses but run by idiots.

If you have to show identification to board an airplane, cash a
check, buy liquor, or check out a library book, but not to vote
who runs the government — you might live in a nation founded
by geniuses but run by idiots.

If the government wants to ban stable, law-abiding citizens from
owning gun magazines with more than ten rounds, but gives
twenty F-16 fighter jets to the crazy new leaders in Egypt — you
might live in a nation founded by geniuses but run by idiots.

If, in the nation’s largest city, you can buy two 16-ounce sodas,
but not a 24-ounce soda because 24-ounces of a sugary drink
might make you fat — you might live in a nation founded by
 geniuses but run by idiots.

If an 80-year-old woman or a three-year-old girl confined to a
wheelchair can be strip-searched by the TSA, but a woman in
a hijab is only subject to having her neck and head searched
 — you might live in a nation founded by geniuses but run by idiots.

If your government believes that the best way to eradicate trillions
of dollars of debt is to spend trillions more — you might live in a
nation founded by geniuses but run by idiots.

If a seven-year-old boy can be thrown out of school for saying his
teacher is “cute,” but hosting a sexual exploration or diversity class
in grade school is perfectly acceptable — you might live in a nation
founded by geniuses but run by idiots.

If children are forcibly removed from parents who discipline them
with spankings, while children of addicts are left in filth- and drug-infested
“homes” — you might live in a nation founded by geniuses but run by idiots.

If hard work and success are met with higher taxes and more
government intrusion, while not working is rewarded with EBT cards,
WIC checks, Medicaid, subsidized housing, and free cell phones
 — you might live in a nation founded by geniuses but run by idiots.

If the government’s plan for getting people back to work is to provide
incentives for not working through 99 weeks of unemployment checks,
without any requirement to prove they sought, but couldn’t find, work
 — you might live in a nation founded by geniuses but run by idiots.

If you pay your mortgage faithfully, denying yourself the newest big
screen TV, while your neighbor buys iPhones, wall-sized plasma do-it-all
TV’s and new cars, and the government forgives his debt when he
defaults on his mortgage — you might live in a nation founded by geniuses
 but run by idiots.

If being stripped of the ability to defend yourself makes you more “safe”
according to the government — you might live in a nation founded by
 geniuses but run by idiots.

It would be nice to see the left explain themselves someday, after requiring them to read that....im thinking it would be a rather unproductive silent discussion.

That's crazy.

If he wore an anti-2A shirt, they'd probably have given him a citizenship award.......    :bash: :bash: :bash: :bash: :bash:

omfg were becoming so easly offended it's nuts.
"When my bow falls, so shall the world. When me heart ceases to pump blood to my body, it will all come crashing down. As a hunter, we are bound by duty, nay, bound by our very soul to this world. When a hunter dies we feel it, we sense it, and the world trembles with sorrow. When I die, so shall the world, from the shock of loosing such a great part of ones soul." Ezekiel, Okeanos Hunter

This stuff happens because we put up with it.  His parents should be fighting for their rights and suing if necessary. Somehow every gun hater equates that a person who has a passion for firearms and hunting is a a supporter of violence,  which in their mind gives them a right to stomp on others' rights. This is no different than if they said no cars on shirts because someone is offended because they lost someone to DUI, or outlawing shirts with musical groups because someone equates rock or rap to drugs and gangsterism. Answer to our problem: STOP PUTTING UP WITH IT! Everyone has a right to enjoy their personal interests. This is persecution by association born out of fear that we must stop for our children's' and nation's future.

I think i heard they're getting an earful.

I know the story said dad wasn't taking it.   GOOD FOR HIM!!!!

I don't usually like it when parents go to the school to defend little Jimmy - seems like some parents are way overprotective that way - but in this case the kid did nothing but register his support for the 2A and he should not be hassled for it.

I hope dad takes them to task completely.

Good for the dad. And I agree that today we are raising a nation of hurt feelings club kids. But this is about rights, not feelings. Hope he takes that school out to the wood shed!

Very interesting that the school has not issued any formal paperwork yet.  No surprise they haven't issued a statement either, because they stepped in the pooh big time and they know it.

The better be braced for a lawsuit that is certainly coming, and the school certainly won't win.

Here is the principal's email addresses!  I sent them an email!  Very pissed that people in this country put up with this *censored*.  Thank Obama for the down fall of America as we know it...  What makes teachers push their personal beliefs on children.

Blaming Obama for the principal making this choice is asinine.  The principal is a big boy/girl and is capable of making his/her own choices.  Obama wasn't there making them do this.
