Got a request for some more specific info on the housing. Here it is.
I used the standard black pvc pipe for construction. Camera housing end is a 4 inch reduction flange to 2 inch. 2 inch pipe with a standard cap. Total length is about a foot. The cap has a stainless "U" bolt that is sunk all the way. Inside I used Teflon spacers and stainless nuts with lock washers to hold it tight. The end clasp is a standard stainless type connector. Total expense including the glue was about $50............you can save some money by not buying stainless of course. The camera is mounted in the cupped end with a stock GoPro tripod camera mount. For easy of installation I just picked a spot in the cupped part, drilled, and mounted the tripod mount. I used two different sized washers under the camera mount to take up space between the mount and the curve of the housing. Below is a stainless bolt with lock washer as well. Drill a small hole in the side of the housing so you can insert a phillps head screwdriver to hold the screw while tightening the nut on the opposite side of the camera base. I used a stainless bolt with washers and locking nut for the camera mounting.
I would suggest test fitting your parts prior to glue. See how it clips into the rigger ball to make sure when you clip it on the cam is not on its side or anything. Then.....fit it up and glue it together. I covered mine with reflective prism tape. Probably don't need to but for kicks and giggles I did.
