Just cracked open a 73 year old bottle of Crown  my grandpa purchased in 1960 the day I was born.  It was 20 years old then.  My dad held onto it with instructions to open it when he passed on and to have a toast for him and Grand Pa.   I miss my dad but boy was that smooth.

Back in the day (I sound like my Dad) I would meet my best friend for drinks and pool. The first drink (I use to drink Canadian now it is only Irish, LOL) we would order Crown Royal, neat. the 2nd round would be V.O. and 7 on the rocks. The 3rd and any after were "bourbon 7" off the gun, by then we could not taste the difference anyway,   :party1:

Lately been trying out some (quality) lemonade with bourbon, maybe a splash of iced tea as well, pretty good! That and made up a new batch of apple pie moonshine using everclear. Neighbors love it!

We had house party rules at a place I used to live.  Everyone got 2 "good" beers and after that, all the PBR you could drink.  Same theory, after a couple of good beers, the rest just added to the buzz

sailor jerry rum and coke, if mixed correctly it tastes just like vanilla coke and is quite deadly especially since i love vanilla coke and i dont drink much soda anymore

If you like that try it with orange crush!

Im a spice rum and coke guy. Sailor Jerry was my go to... until I became a liquor snob.  :chuckle:
