So for the past 5 years me and my hunting partners have hunted Derby Canyon outside of Peshastin, when you enter the state forest land and head up the canyon there is a "homestead" where this guy cuts firewood and sells it in Leavenworth. the last few years we have reported him because he is using domestic turkeys to lure in wild turkeys and he then traps then and keeps them penned up. We know this because thoughout the season he accumulates more birds then he starts out with and the wild ones at times have not had their feathers tattered like the ones that have been penned up for a while. We have reported him to WDFW and they will not do anything about it, they say that they cannot proove that the birds are wild and they have told us that he had a bunch of turkeys killed by a cougar a few years ago (dont know if they made some sort of deal with him) anyway, we were hunting up there the other day and came across this discusting sight. He had one tom locked in the cab of a truck with all the windows up (no ventalation) and six turkeys and 4 cats locked inside a camp trailer also with no ventalation. here are some pics
