Tried both already.  Nothing recent on either unfortunately.  Going to be out either way, just thought I'd try to get a heads up and some recent news.

I spoke to a couple of groups that had launched out of the Hunters site last week, they had'nt done well but the wind was very bad and they said they could'nt really get to a couple of spots they liked to fish.  They were dropping the lake very quickly while we were there turkey hunting.  We fished a bit for trout from the shore and had a little action, but I don't like fishing in those strong winds so we did'nt really hit it hard.  Might check the weather for this weekend-calling for showers both Sat and Sunday and over there that usaully means wind.  Typically calm water until about 9-10:00 am and then it gets pretty rough.

With the new regs on the lake, I don't think you will be seeing as many reports. at least from the folks who fish it a lot and do a lot of walleye fishing.  Nothing personal, but that includes me, unless of course its a bad report.

Heading back over that way in the morning-I'll try to get a better report, but forecast is for winds to 45 mph tomorrow afternoon so I'm not sure many guys I know will be launching. From my house I can see down the lake about 5 miles, and can always tell how the fishing is based upon how many boats are out and how long they are staying put. But I'm up towards Hunters not down on the Spokane arm.

Well it didn't get windy until about 11 or so.  Before then it was a beautiful day.  Only caught two dinks, but did see a 14# a guy had when we loaded the boat.
