Anybody hunt NM Unit 17?

I know it's a long shot, but thought I'd ask if anyone's hunted Unit 17 in New Mexico for deer.  I'm headed down there for a hunt in November.  I hunted nearby in 16A for elk, but haven't been to 17.  I'm going with a couple buddies from AZ who will be able to do a bit of scouting ahead of time, but just hoping to pick someone's brain beforehand as none of us have been there for the deer season.

Long shot for helping you out but I bowhunted elk in 16 two years in a row and am only telling you this because I found a TON of huge muley sheds in the Gila.  Saw some big bucks too.  PM me if you want to compare notes.
