Two questions.  How'd you get serial #2?  Is there a purpose to the fluting on the barrel curling and then straightening out at the end?

It is for my brother in law who is waiting for a liver transplant. Will present it on the 18th of this month. It is a Black Mountain/High Mountain billet lower that I co-designed. A black Hole Barrel, fluted and capped with a Black Hole Dragonshead brake. Skeleton stock, Ergo dual palm grip, R River trigger, ceramic bolt bipod and sling. after barrel break-in, well, lets say the groups are itty bitty! I think he will like it!

Fluting is just a different look.

Got it.     Was trying to figure out if it was scientific or stylistic.

:chuckle: Figured it with that black hole barrel but had to ask anyways :chuckle:

If you up grade the catch latch on the charging handle you might look at the black rain latch. I have started using them and man am I LOVING THEM! still low profile but more to get your mits on. They don't snag up half as bad as my badgers.

Those are a great latch and we have used them on many builds. May have to add one for him.

Very nice! I like that High Mountain lower too. Does Kelsey have any of those stripped lowers in stock?

Beautiful.   :) I have a BHW barrel on my mid-length 16" carbine.  One of these days I'm going to strap a scope on and see what kind of groups it will shoot.  I have no problem consistently hitting the 192 yard 10" gong with non magnified 5MOA red dot.

It's really cool that you designed that lower.  Do you have plans to put it into production so we can get some?   :hello:
