Unless the President comes up with some kind of back door politics, the only way any national registry could happen would be if the dems get control of the house in 2014.

:)What I read is that in the 7 years period that the registration was supposed to occur is that teh Canadian Govt. estimated that 20-35% of existing guns were registered and they considerred the law a failure.

Good luck with that O. Derms won't control either the house or senate after 2014......Obamacare will show it's evil head before the mid term elections. Gun control in many middle of the fence minds will go even further down on the priority list.
