RBro's rifle likes the Dillon loaded varmint ammo
« on: May 08, 2013, 05:58:59 AM »
I've been looking for a varmint load for my Rbro's built 6.5X47 Lapua that I can load on my Dillon. I wanted to use the 100 grain A-Max as I was able to get them @ 20cents ea, and the bullet pops rockchucks rather nicely. I also didn't want to have to sort through my 'old' brass.
Loaded up 30 rounds with 38 grains of Benchmark over a CCI450. They are running out at 3100fps. Showing promise with this 5 shot 5/8" C-C group and the left group of 2 with my last two rounds after shooting @1080 yards. With a .390BC they are a little flighty past 500.
