hunting the Snoqualmie Hancock tree farm

Has anyone ever hunted the snoqualmie hancock tree farm for deer or elk
Considering buying a permit
I have only heard about the bear hunting up there

I know everyone always jokes about no elk anywhere but truthfully they are extremely sparse in there.  Most of the elk will be down lower closer to town during hunting season.

Well I had some nice bear staked out last year.... and they closed the farm for 2 months the next day before season. 

Some good ground in there but dense brush.  Elk are hard to come by but in there, just bring 3 friends and a helicopter to get them out of the weeds.  And yes most of the herd is in town making faces at you while being hugged by the Sierra Club.

Fishing at a few of the lakes was good though when the property opened back up.
