First whitey buck of the year

checked my cams last week in a place where I have  giant buck I am after to see if hes alive will be 7.5 this year and the 3rd year after him..he has a noticable notch out of his ear so I know when hes there..hasnt shown yet, but its early as most of the bucks have yet to migrate back into their summer and fall haunts, but this buck showed up..one of the older ones not sure which one he is but I have 2 that will be 4.5 this year and may be one of them. checking the cam this saturday and see how much he grew.

lost alot of weight this winter

I will..Ill post up progression pics of this guy thru the summer if he sticks around..my guess is this was a 3.5 yr old 5x5 that was around 125" last year..he should be quite nice this year.

Sounds like you've got an effective management system going on there.

Good luck keeping track of them this summer.  Whatcha got on the ground?

I've been using trace minerals but I can't keep the bears away  :dunno:

one salt site..the rest of the cams are on trails and mock scrapes

I did get 4 pics one night of the velvet buck above..but not very good ones :(
