Been a while....Bass
« on: May 20, 2013, 11:17:51 AM »
Been a while since my last post, been out there pounding it the last few weeks, hope everyone is having a good spring ! The fishing has been super hot the last 2 weeks, this one went 6 even, the small one was 3, ended up catching 14 on the day, with a mix of smallies and 4 largies, good luck out there!!!!

You aint kidding, I grew up fishing that lake and have always had 2-3 good days a year back there, we did better on the bigger smallies out on the main lake....females seem to be waiting for the right temp...thanks!

Smossy, not to sound like a serious bass guy, but it really depends on what time of year your fishing..... they are up shallow and willing to bite several types of baits as of right now... Lizards, shallow cranks, drop shot and several others......send me a Pm and I will be able to get you some more detailed answers depending on when and where, along with some info pertaining to water temps and tactics. Best regards.

Actually, it was the week before last, on a Wednesday night after work. Not to take away from the original poster but because there is finally a bass thread up here, again.
