Hunting and Fishing trip results.
« on: May 20, 2013, 09:05:17 PM »
Got back last Wednesday from 4 days near Moses Lake.  Started bad shearred the prop on my boat at Potholes.  Did get one coyote and a shot at another one.  Last evening stand got a couple of packs talking.  Got about 15 rockchucks totol between my buddy and I.  He has a 6.5 Grendel dialed in tight.  That thing shoots like a laser.   I have better luck with the .22-250 than the .223.  The last day we did catch over 20 fish rbts and all were nice fighters.  Did some exploring and found some territory for next trip.

Yes, it was a great trip--except for the broken motor.  First blood for "Grendel", actually a 6.5 Grendel necked down to .204 cal.  If the crosshair was on fur, they were done for!  The Trout were feisty little buggers, and for a while you could have put a set of false teeth on the line and they'd hit it...  The days were full, with fishing in the morning, exploring and Rockchuck shooting in the afternoon, and coyote hunting at night.  Hearing those two packs of coyotes light up on 2 sides of us was thrilling--if only we'd have stayed on stand a little longer!
If it was easy, everybody would be doing it.

When Bernie Madoff did it, it's called a "Ponzi Scheme"
When Government does it, it's called "Social Security"
