I want to see some of these pots. I want to build some myself but not sure what really works.
It's cheaper just to buy them.
At $100 a pop? No way. What kind of pots are you guys using?

regardless of weather you buy or build traps, make sure you read the regs. most store bought don't meet the regs for wash.

I bought one at Wholesale sports for $30 and the other... I have to dig up the receipt from Cabelas, but I thought it was less than $50.

Sounds good. Are they shrimp traps or crawfish traps? One would work for the other I imagine..? I think Im going to build one soon, love lil projects.
Was thinking something along the lines of this trap. But with galvanized steel wire. Flat with an V opening on both ends.
