Looking for some options to keep crap out of the breach on my cva buckhorn. First of all is this legal? Couldn't find anything in the regs. I was thinking of using a small section of bike innertube that I could roll out of the way to shoot.

switch to the hex head cva breech plug. It doesnt have that huge slot that lets all the primer gas out.
