Seminars and Guide Services, I certainly would be interested in both.
That large, commercially tanned, hooped Beaver is still waiting for the person who helps me get an Eastern.

Havnt given seminars yet, have been contacted to though. They always want me to do it on the weekends. And guess what Im hunting! As for guiding, I have, but have to do it for free. For some reason, the wdfw wants me to buy a guides license. I can guide, I just cant take money for it. But Hmmmmm. The tanned beaver sounds interesting!

Unless something new, there is not a required hunting guide license for Washington, just fishing.

You may be right! If thats true, I get quite a few people wanting me to guide....turkey, deer, elk, duck, fishing, etc. I would love to get into this.
I love guiding for friends, but it would be nice to make a few bucks too!
I did find this, (Commerical use -- permit required for any activity where a fee is charged or where the purpose is the sale or barter of a good or service, regardless of whether profit is intended, including guides for hunting, fishing and boating/rafting.)But that only is needed on wdfw lands. I think I will give them a call.

David -
If I can do seminars, you can do them ... nothing to it, just tell them what they need to know to be successful. I could send you my list of main topics (patterning, scouting, dressing for the part, setups, calling, etc.). Just have fun with it and share your knowledge.
Anyway, congrats again on continuing your streak ...

Many people have said " The best way to ruin a hobby is make a business out of it" I know some big game guides who no longer hunt. I would think the seminars would be fun though.
