Lake st Clair

Anyone ever fished it?  I live right by it and was wondering if it is worth fishing?

Fished it at the launch the other day. Caught a couple average planter trout.
Its got a good mix of fish.
Kind of an odd lake, with all those channels, inlets, and shoreline. Deeper than most lowland lakes.

WA Lakes .com has some decent reports for it.
Charlie Kirk didn't speak hate, they hated what he said. Don't get it twisted.

st clair is my favorite thurston county lake.  i mainly fish it for perch, but there's just about everything in there.  i catch more holdover trout there than anywhere else.
you can still get gas in heaven, and a drink in kingdom come,
in the meantime, i'll be cleaning my gun

St. Clair is a great lake if you have a small boat. Troll 1/2 nightcrawler with a red powerbait egg along the edges of the big portion of the lake for trout. Hit the channels in the smaller portion  for lots of blue gill action.

There was a time when I knew every trout hole in that lake but you could only fish a few hours on the weekends before the skiers would ruin it. Used to be a lot of good deer hunting there as well.

Never really fished much, but I live right on it.  Guess ill have to push the canoe out tomorrow. Send me a PM if anyone is interested in going with me.   Thanks for the insight.  Also, where did you deer hunt out here.  The whole lake is built up as far as I can tell.

It has been years since I hunted over there, but if you can access property on the North or East sides of the lake you will still find lots of deer and the occasional bear. Used to be an elk or two in there a few times a year, but they mostly stay on the mil rez.

I will send a pm of some of my favorite spots to fish.
