Monday Morning Vancouver Hunt
« on: October 12, 2008, 04:02:29 PM »
I don't have to be into work until 3pm tomorrow, anyone interested in joining me for a Vancouver hunt in the Shillapoo unit?  I hate hunting by myself, anyone interested let me know.

If you ever need someone to hunt with in the Vancouver Area, I typically have Mondays and Tuesdays off plus the occassional mornings that I can hunt....  Let me know if you are interested...

Quite a few places from Shilapoo, Vancouver Lake, up and down lake river, lower lewis river, lower columbia river, mid columbia river, a few private ponds...

Pretty much where the ducks are.... :chuckle:

Don't know if you're willing to drag along a new guy.  This would be my first year duck hunting.  I have gear (including decoys) but not much experience (especially at calling).  I often have Mon/Tues off.  Would love to get out there with someone who actually knows what they're doing.

We could work something out.  We just need a little water to hunt some of the areas I love to hunt around here....  Plus a few good storms could help!

I'll be hunting tomorrow with a friend of mine, him and his buddy shot 24 greenies/widgeon/teal over the last 2 days....

Was out Monday morning and hunted one of my favorite little spots, finding there was very little water...  Ended up with 4 GWT...  Pretty slow really and the mud/muck was up to my thighs...  Stupid really!  WE NEED RAIN!!

Sure wish Goose season was open, I had 8 speckle bellys land 20 yards from me....
