My future wall hanger...hopefully
« on: October 12, 2008, 07:20:46 PM »
I have captured this blacktail a few times on my trail cam.  I hope to find him on the receiving end of my broadhead come late archery.  I am no expert at scoring a deer.  I know that there's many bigger deer than him in this state, but I would still be pretty darn proud of him.  Anyone got any idea what a rack like that might score?

I have a standard 4x4 with eye guards, that has more mass than that deer and it was scored at 115 pts.  But mine is almost perfectly symmetrical.
By my honorable conduct as a hunter let me give a good example and teach new hunters principles of honor, so that each new generation can show respect for their god, other hunters and the animals, and enjoy the dignity of the hunt.

Calling an illegal alien an 'undocumented immigrant' is like calling a drug dealer an 'unlicensed pharmacist'.

The buck in the pics scores over 115, my guess would be 125-130....

Very nice blacktail, it looks to be 19" inside to inside...

:yeah:   That's a good blacktail.  In the next couple of years I bet he puts on mega mass, if he lasts that long.   :chuckle:

Thats an awesome buck! I don't know anything about scoring, but I cant get over that center tine on his left antler. Almost looks to be giving up the middle finger.

Good luck with whacking him, before I do that is :chuckle:
