Thanks guys.....i ended up using a 1/4 oz slider sinker above a swivel with a 2ft leader with a chartruese with sparkles power egg and a piece of night crawler....it didnt even hit the bottom before the fish had it....my son fell asleep on the way to the lake and was a bit cranky untill he seen that jump clear out of the water then it was game on and it was his fish
