sturgeon excursion 10/11
« on: October 12, 2008, 03:08:15 PM »
saturday a couple of us went with paul of great nw rivers guide service and had a blast.

it was a beautifull day on the water with constant action. paul is a top notch guy who took the time to teach me tricks from baiting to figuring out the hook set and even let me set the hook into the oversize we caught. we caught a ton of shakers 4 keepers and a 7 1/2 footer these fish are so powerfull we let the girls take a turn fighting the oversize and it was pretty priceless.

paul is a top notch guy who really knows his stuff and i would reccomend him to every one and if you havnt tried these fish yet to contact him... your really missing out.

pictures will follow... im having issues getting them to post

Great pics guys, awesome BIG fish.....  They addictive aren't they.  Thing I like about them is you get to enjoy fishing without other folks cutting each other off, trolling over you, casting into your boat, standing next to you, being near people you don't want to be near, etc....   Super fun fish and again great job!...

WELL THERES ALWAYS THE ONES THAT SEE YOU CATCH FISH SO THEY COME AND ANCHOR RIGHT UP ON TOP OF YOU... OUR OVER SIZE WRAPPED AROUND A ANCHOR LINE AND WE GOT IT OFF THEN IT WRAPPED UP IN ALL FOUR OF THE SAME BOATS LINES AND WE GOT THEM TO THE SURFACE CUT IT FREE AND KEPT FIGHTING THE FISH AND RETURNED THEIR GEAR AFTER WE HAD THE FISH TO THE BOAT AND RELEASED.
