Welcome to the site. I don't bow hunt but I do hunt out your way every fall. I wouldn't mind showing you a few spots to get started in. Good luck.

Welcome aboard you are living in a good valley. What is your preference as far as deer i.e. blacktail, mule deer whitetail? How about elk Rocky Mtn, or Roosevelt?

If I get out and hunt the blacktail this year it will be the first. My preference I think for now would be mule deer but that is what I have the most experience with. This year will be different, my brother would like to try and get a whitetail in Wyoming or Washington.

Last year hunted muzzle down around Rochester but did not have any luck. This year I am going to get out with the bow and see what I can do, hopefully with the help of someone that can show me the ropes with a bow. I have had a number of people offer assistance which I think is awesome. Will be very nice to meet more people at the BBQ and the crab feed. I get my bow this weekend, the practice will begin along with the scouting.
