I got most of the meat cut up and ground into burger last night and ended up at about 270 lbs of pure meat. Crazy thing is that the shoulder blade has a big knot in it that is healed up with bone. I am gonna save it and let all the flesh rot off to get a good look at it because I am willing to bet that there is a Muzzle loader ball in there all healed over. Three years ago, a group of guys I know of went ML hunting in that area and shot at and hit a couple different bulls and never killed any of them. I kinda wonder if he wasn't one of those bulls. I've recovered several shoulder blades over the years with healed over broadheads in them and this looks a healed over smaller round knob.

Not a bad bull for a one legged sob!..

LOL! Congrats Jesse.

 :chuckle:   Thanks!

Even one legged SOBs get lucky every once in a while if they put in the time!

I'm hoping the two legged SOB (BTKR) will get lucky too.
I hope so too. Found fresh sign today. Maybe in the morning. I'll take a spike at this point.
