garmin oregon series
« on: June 24, 2013, 05:49:25 PM »
Ive been looking to buy a gps for awhile and have narrowed it down to the 450 or 550. I can get them for the same price and understand the camera is the only difference. I was wondering about the 450 or 550 vs. the 450t or 550t. is it majorly worth having the t models?  im using it for hunting and camping. if anyone can give me a little of there 2 cents or opinions on these models or others that would be really appreciated!

Dad has the 450 and just beware that you have to buy a chip for it after you buy it. Without the chip, you will not see anything on the map. Each chip is about $100 and it covers one state  :twocents:

:yeah: The difference in the gps itself is not worth the extra money. Buy the cheaper gps and buy the chip
