Drew Boistford cow permit
« on: June 25, 2013, 10:09:55 AM »
Going to be down in Boistford this January chasing the ladies.  I helped pack a cow out of here a several years ago for a buddy that drew this tag.  He said that access has been restricted since we were there last.

Anyone have any recent info on this unit and willing to share?

Thanks and best regards.

Weyco now charges.
Sierra Pacific allows foot and horse.

Most places close the gates and frown on motorized vehicles due to a the interbreed locals tearing up the place and throwing beer cans everywhere.

Sierra will give you access, they did last year anyway with a combo lock.  I had this tag last year and again this year.  Good luck

Ya now with weyco charging access and the blockhouse lease your only option is sierra Pacific. Try going in the king Rd. Or there's one more gate to go in further down the road.

Wildwood is right, the last three elk I have taken out of the biostfort area have had hoof rot. That being said I still never get into as many elk as I do down there, great area!!! PM me and I can give you some direction.
