Should do ok with out a blizzard, but some serious snow gets the park bulls moving! :drool:

Good luck with your hunt. I had the archery tag last year. Was one of the coolest hunts I've ever been on and a lot of nice elk in there.  :tup:

I shot. And I missed. And the image of that bull still haunts me every night. We had like 6 different bulls bugling at us within two hundred yards at the same time. It was amazing. Thankful I completely missed instead of a bad hit tho!

I scouted a drainage three weeks ago...I stopped counting elk. We had to wait for a big black bear to move so we could get back to the truck.

I scouted a drainage three weeks ago...I stopped counting elk. We had to wait for a big black bear to move so we could get back to the truck.
Were you on the white river in Oregon off the Deschutes or WR in Washington?

Washington GMU 653. Slim pickin's for deer but plenty elk. A few respectable bulls up there but probably not like the Kapowsin.
