Is it okay to freeze razor clams?  I've got a few bags of them in the freezer and my wife thinks they are not safe to freeze?
yes but they will burn easy and fast if you dont vacuum pack them, i have about 20 lbs frozen

We have a smoked razor recipe in the recipe section...

And oh so tasty they are !!! I canned up 8 half pint jars using ICEMANS recipe 4 with smoke and 4 without and they didn't last more then a week before they were all used in dips (billythekidrocks smoked clam dip recipe) and chowders and just straight out of the jar. This is definitely the way I am going to preserve them from now on !!!
That's the only way to go!
$5 is a lot of money if you ain't got it

I freeze the diggers in water and then vacuum seal.  The siphons I either make ICEMAN's Smoked clam recipe and can them or pressure cook them, vacuum seal (no water) and freeze.  ICEMAN's recipe is the best though.
Look man, some times you just gotta roll the dice
