I'm guessing the above posters are missing the nuances from the OP. Yup, sure looks like a REALLY big coyote or hybrid (which are legal to shoot?)  :dunno:  ;)

Wolves were much larger.
And I agree he is a big one.

I spotted him just outside of the town we were passing through.
He seemed interested in the pizza I was eating.
I also spotted a nice black bear, but the pictures were not in focus.
