Is there any fruit companies near othello that I could talk to? I will be going that way from Snoqualmie on sunday.

I am sure there are some and I remember seeing them when I drive there to duck hunt. I believe there are a few in Royal City and I would bet there are some in Othello. If not, you are close to Quincy so you could always go back that way and stop somewhere in the Wenatchee Valley and go home over Blewett.

Very good idea. The only thing I seem to see around royal city is mint, onions and grapes.  I will be looking tho. Wonder about Thorp Fruit....

I am sure Thorp Fruit would but I don't imagine they would have culls which is what you want. Wouldn't hurt to give a few places a call so they could save them for you if you are interested.

There should be plenty on the westside. Apple trees.are.everywhere. take a drive and ask people if.you can pick them.

The problem I've found with apples on the westside is it seems like they arent ripe until its hunting season already. I'm talking rifle season so mid october. If you could buy last years apples or culls by the tote it seems like it would be worthwhile, then use local apples when you can.

I saw a picture of the infamous graham outfitter posted on facebook where he had two totes worth of apples on a trailer, said he gets them for $50 a tote. I didn't ask where.

I have picked apples earlier on the westside than the eastside..my buddy is getting them as of 2 weeks ago

there is a apple now that is starting to drop in the next week or so..called a July yellow

Yellow transparents are one of the earliest apples over here on the wetside.
