Leupold BX-3 Mohave bino's 12x50 or Nikon Monarch 7 10x42
« on: July 09, 2013, 12:00:22 PM »
Tried out both and like them both. These 2 are in my price range and no higher. Any thoughts on which ones. I'm seriously leaning towards Leupold for customer service, warranty and I like the higher magnification. Suggestions are more than welcome.

I have the older style Leupold Mojave's and really like them. No complaints. My brither has Vortex Binos and they also look really well. expecially for the price.

After looking at the Nikons, and a few others I went with the Mojave BX-3's myself.

Kinda what I thought. Thanks guys. Going with the Leupold mojave. Vortex is just not proven enough for me. When they've been around long enough I might look at them for the next pair down the road.

Have an experienced optics guy run you through the "AMP" process of comparing Binos, you will come to find that the Monarch 7's are FAR superior glasses, dare I say better than Razor HD's? YEP! "But hey.....this is just advice, YOU CAN WHATEVER THE F*&% YOU WANNA DO!" -TMW

I agree on customer service. I took a pair of Leupold binos to the factory Monday night and left with security guard, got them back in mail on Thursday morning..When dropping off I stressed fact that my Elk season started in less then 2 weeks..Rather then repair the old ones (kids had done some damage when left in reach  :bdid: ) they sent me brand new pair...Great Company, will be forever a loyal customer  :brew:
Now therefore, please take your weapons, your quiver and thy bow, and go out to the field and hunt game for me
Genesis 27:3

I may not have alot but what I have I got honest.....

I'd rather be hated for what I am then be loved for what I'm not

Is it me, or are people getting dumber
