something good at lead removal? :dunno:  I was always told that you never see boats fishing in there for a reason.  Many decades of shipyard waste being dumped in that bay.  Heard from EPA guys at work years ago that they estimate that the top 4-8" of the bay's bottom is pollution.

We been fishing it regularly. Its still slow but I saw a 13 pounder Friday night. We banged a little fat hatchery fish Sat morn but was an inch to short. there has been bait on the Anopolis side. And lots of shakers.

Wont be long! Id fish bait for sure...
DJ,
Just dont eat the flounder! The Kings are migratory and comming up Gorst creek. They dont grow up there and they dont feed off the bottom.
And not sure who you heard that from? But there are lots of boats fishing it. Its a decent all hatchery fish King run. But dont tell anyone....

Definitely people that fish that area.  We used to fish that area all the time before the rest of Area 10 opened up finally a few years ago.  We used to do pretty decent fishing the 140 hole and along the rock formation area between the ferry and navy boats.  Last time we fished there though, you couldn't fish the rock formation area because of 9/11 so you always had a military boat honking at you to go farther out and not so close to PSNS.

You can still get in close enough to catch fish near the ferry terminal. We mark lots there every year. 3 years ago I won 6th place from a fish that came from that area.
2 years ago my fishing bud won first!
