Garmin 62s bundle help

I bought a 62 a couple of months ago at Cabelas, the bundle came with the 24k maps. When I registered the unit it did not give me the option to download the maps. I emailed Garmin and they told me it was a known problem and when it was fixed I would be able to download the, that was 2 months ago, I have emailed them again with no response, cabelas told me there was nothing they could do, anyone else had this happen?

I don't have the 62 and don't know how to help.  But for the mean time, you can go to gpsfiledepot and get 24K and other maps for free.
